We were incredibly excited to hear that the XG is back in production. Where the regular flat-top Kahu tends to be more straight and stable, the pop-top XG turns and glides. The dome provides more turn and lift, and feels more generous in the hand. Basically more distance and a more beautiful flight. Hands downs our favourite RPM distance driver.

The Kahu is a great high speed driver with gentle turn good glide and a hard fade. It is also makes a great forehand disc. The Strata blend is a little harder and has a domey top which adds glide. This is arguably the longest driver in the RPM range

Kāhu is the Māori name for the New Zealand Swamp Harrier, a large, tawny-brown bird of prey that occurs throughout New Zealand. It is an opportunistic hunter that searches for food by slowly quartering the ground with its large wings held in a distinctive shallow V-shape. Adapted to hunt in open habitats, its numbers have benefited from widespread forest clearance and the development of agriculture.

Although carrion is a major component of the harrier’s diet, it also actively hunts live prey such as small birds, mammals and insects. Capable dispersers, birds from New Zealand visit islands as far north as the Kermadec Islands and as far south as Campbell Island. Known for their dramatic ‘sky-dancing’ courtship display the swamp harrier is the largest of the 16 species of harriers found worldwide.

Strata	RPM’s base plastic Strata is opaque, tacky and medium stiffness. This plastic will break in faster, similar to most base plastics.
Cosmic	Semi translucent premium plastic It's a tough, grippy, partially see-through plastic that comes in a range of stiffness and with a variety of colours and effects. Will break in more slowly, so will maintain its original flight path for longer. We find this to be the most stable plastic from RPM.
Atomic	Tough opaque premium plastic It's a tough, grippy, opaque plastic that comes in a range of stiffness and with a variety of colours and effects. Will break in more slowly, so will maintain its original flight path for longer. This will often be the easiest to plastic to spot from a distance.
Magma	RPM's premium putting plastic It's a rubbery, softer feeling plastic. Silky and grippy and comes in soft, medium and hard. This is RPM's grippiest plastic, particularly in the rain.
