RPM has strengthened its range of drivers with the Kotare an overstable high speed driver.  A great addition for advanced players, or people who live in really windy places! Very fast, very stable. An "elite" lid, can do great things when thrown correctly. Good utility disc for newer players who need something to go sideways around a corner.

PDGA Approved: Yes
Weights: 168-176g

The ‘Kotare’ {Ko-tar-eh} will provide you with a predictable flight no matter what the conditions. High power drives will glide but not turn and have a long slow Fade, Anhysers will give a nice full flight S curve. The Kotare makes an excellent Flick disc with a slightly deeper rim than the Kahu and is PDGA credited to 176g making it a great choice for head wind drives.

Model #: DGD3
PDGA Approved: Yes – as the Kotare
Diameter: 212mm

Kotare is the Māori name for the Kingfisher, a small bird with a green-blue back, buff to yellow undersides and a large black bill. Rather than nesting in tree tops like many other birds, the Kotare uses their dagger-like beaks to tunnel into soft tree trunks or clay banks to build nests.

Kotare are found throughout the country in both coastal and inland freshwater habitats. They live in a wide range of habitats, including forest, river margins, farmland, lakes, estuaries and rocky coastlines. Their diet in estuarine mudflats is mainly small crabs, with a range of tadpoles, freshwater crayfish and small fish in freshwater habitats. In open country they eat insects, spiders, lizards, mice and small birds. At Bella Rakha Retreat Center in New Zealand (private disc golf course), Kotare are often spotted perching utop the disc golf baskets.

Strata

RPM’s base plastic
Strata is opaque, tacky and medium stiffness. This plastic will break in faster, similar to most base plastics.

Cosmic

Semi translucent premium plastic
It's a tough, grippy, partially see-through plastic that comes in a range of stiffness and with a variety of colours and effects. Will break in more slowly, so will maintain its original flight path for longer. We find this to be the most stable plastic from RPM.

Atomic

Tough opaque premium plastic
It's a tough, grippy, opaque plastic that comes in a range of stiffness and with a variety of colours and effects. Will break in more slowly, so will maintain its original flight path for longer. This will often be the easiest to plastic to spot from a distance.

Magma RPM's premium putting plastic
It's a rubbery, softer feeling plastic. Silky and grippy and comes in soft, medium and hard. This is RPM's grippiest plastic, particularly in the rain.
