A new favourite. Probably not for beginners, but once you get some arm speed this is a stable mid with good glide and great feel in the hand. Doesn't fade too hard. Think Compass or Buzz OS.

PDGA Approved: Yes – as the Kotuku / MR3
Weights: 168-180g

This disc comes in our Pro Deluxe and Pro Starter disc & bag bundles!

A good reliable stable to straight disc with a fade, this will easily hold a line and with the glide is sneaky long.

Model #: MR3
PDGA Approved: Yes – as the Kotuku / MR3
Diameter: 217mm

Kotuku is the Māori name for the White Heron which is considered a very rare and sacred bird in New Zealand. It is the splendid bird in flight featured on the NZ $2 coin. In Maori oratory to see one of these birds just once in a lifetime was believed to be good fortune and to liken someone to a Kotuku was paying them a great compliment. The only known nesting site for White Heron in New Zealand is on the West Coast of the South Island along the banks of the Waitangiroto River deep within the Waitangiroto Nature Reserve. Access to this area is by guided tour only.

It’s presumed the first White Herons were windblown across the Tasman Sea from Australia. It’s not known why the White Herons have only one nesting site in New Zealand or why it’s in the location it is. This remains a mystery of nature.

Strata

RPM’s base plastic
Strata is opaque, tacky and medium stiffness. This plastic will break in faster, similar to most base plastics.

Cosmic

Semi translucent premium plastic
It's a tough, grippy, partially see-through plastic that comes in a range of stiffness and with a variety of colours and effects. Will break in more slowly, so will maintain its original flight path for longer. We find this to be the most stable plastic from RPM.

Atomic

Tough opaque premium plastic
It's a tough, grippy, opaque plastic that comes in a range of stiffness and with a variety of colours and effects. Will break in more slowly, so will maintain its original flight path for longer. This will often be the easiest to plastic to spot from a distance.

Magma RPM's premium putting plastic
It's a rubbery, softer feeling plastic. Silky and grippy and comes in soft, medium and hard. This is RPM's grippiest plastic, particularly in the rain.
